Authentic Mexican home made food located in a small plaza next to Route 46 Rockaway Farmer's Market. Brings back home cooking for a college friend who misses home for the holidays. We ordered churros and horchata frescos to go and they were refreshing and yummy. Horchata is freshly made and very refreshing sweet cinnamon rice drink. We will certainly be back and recommend it. Staff is nice family owned business, be patient as they are really cooking their dishes.

Enjoyable Mexican meal. Birria marinated well and what they are known for. Horchata had good cinnamon flavor and tres leches was soaked in a flavorful sauce. Staff here was super friendly and unexpectedly excited to serve us all. Looks like they might have acoustic performances and a TV playing occasionally here.

The food was Lit, the service is Lit, and the looks of the place was Ambient. The people there were lit(If you don't know what that means it basically means fire), the people were respectful, and the people cared.

I've been there so many times now because it maintains to be my favorite Mexican food place in NJ at this point. Now they don't have margaritas or anything but their agua de frescas are really good I get the small for $4 that's in the pic they barely put any ice like I promise it's a big glass you can also get the large for $8 that's like basically a big pint glass size that was huge the one time I got it lol. The strawberry Fresca is my go to I've tried most of them and they're all very fresh and tasty tho. The tacos de BIRRIA is my favorite dish I get it pretty much everytime it's the best Birria I've had personally, and I get birria at every new mexican place to decide how good it is lol. weve tried other taco dishes as well and theyre always phenominal. the birria you see there is $13 which is reasonable truly for the amount I get plus plenty of consumé that my boyfriend usually steals some to add to his tacos at the end because it's so good. Their tres leches they make themselves and pack in the fridge is also my favorite now. I'll keep going back for sure and I recommend anyone to try them

Just go here and get the chimichanga and birra quesadilla. You will NOT regret it. I am a regular here. Best Mexican around the area! You're welcome.

I was specifically on the hunt for birria tacos. This was the closest location to where I live and the most authentic looking. I would totally come here to have this again, but I think next time I would want to get the birria quesadilla because I felt my tacos needed some cheese to make this meal even more savory. With the tacos I also got guacamole on the side with some chips. This whole meal was an experience. You can take a taco- dip it in the consomé and add a little guac on top. In addition: adding on the sauces that are provided such as the green or the red sauce. There are just so many flavors going on. The guac was a little "watery" and packed with garlic - still enjoyed it though. They are heavy handed with the cilantro- I should have taken some off since I don't LOVE cilantro. Also, I know this is an odd thing to add to the review but their ice does not taste good. It taste like "freezer" if you know what I mean. So I just ended up drinking my soda from the can. All in all this was a very good experience and I would come back again to try more things. People were super friendly and wanted me to enjoy their food. There was ample seating inside.

Good authentic Mexican food. They serve generous portions and always made to order. Quick and friendly service. Birria tacos or quesadillas are my go to because they never disappoint. Tacos are always meaty and not full of fat like other places. I like that they have a big screen tv to watch while dining in.
